Green, green, and more green. I was feeling a bit festive, so I decided to go for a nice deep yet warm toned green and up the glitter factor by adding some small rhinestones (1.5-2mm in size) on top in light and dark green which can be found here.
The colors I used are...
Sinful Colors:


*Show me the way 833 - Main color (Shimmer finish)
*Call you later 932 - Ring finger/Accent color (Glitter)
*Wet n Wild 424A - Black pointer stripes (Creme finish)

I also used the airshield topcoat. I'm not quite sure about it as of yet. While it provides a nice shiny finish and dries quickly I've noticed that it tends to make thicker polish applications peel, chip off, or lift from the nail somewhat easily. I also notice discoloration/darkening of the topcoat after around a week or so. I'll be looking for a new topcoat to try soon~!

So.....I'm back after having been gone for how long??? lol Terrible, I know. A lot has been going on between the time I abandoned my blog and now. It was almost a struggle to motivate myself into making this post -_-;..Things get better with time though right? uh..yeah...hmm lol... Anyway, I sucked it up and finally did something halfway decent to my nails this past weekend lol. Newsprint, mickey, leopard print, and letter rhinestones.

My nails had been boring for the past two weeks so I decided to add some color via water marbling.

For this week I did another take on icecream nails.. I used Sinful Colors "Nirvana" for the chocolate, and "Snow Me white" for the cream and index finger. As for the Lilac and aqua color...I mixed those from Beauty Supply Store $1.00 polishes (lol) I could never find some shades in the price ranges that were good for me so I just decided to mix my own.


On the thumb I added some "sprinkles" and a strawberry slice..The sprinkles are nail art metal balls I purchased on ebay (set of 16 or 18).

For the strawberry I thinly sliced a couple of pieces off of my fimo nail art fruit cane that I purchased also on ebay with a set of around 24 other canes.

The middle nail had a crack and some peeling going on so I had to trim it :(

These were my previous nails..before full clean up. This is also my first time trying "leopard print" freehand with a dotting tool. I used SINFUL COLORS: Feeling Great (pictured), Nirvana, Snow me white and WET N WILD: Black. The design is all over the place because I couldn't decide on anything.

These are my nails for the week, Icecream polka-dot nails. I wanted something eye-catching and vibrant...plus I don't have many pastel colored polishes.

Today I exfoliated my hands with my sugar scrub minus the lemon, and I decided to do a look with my new Orly polish in "Honeymoon in style". I painted all of the nails in the color only except the ring finger on each hand. I did a marble nail look on the ring fingers and added rhinestones. It's ok to me, though I thought I wanted something more mellow..now I want something more vibrant..We'll see how long this lasts..

I really couldn't figuire out what to do with my nails the previous weekend so I just...did anything lol
I used Sinful colors "Mint Apple" (947) on all fingers exept the ring finger. On the ring finger I used Sinful Colors "Snow me white" (101) as the base color, added some newsprint like in my *newsprint nails tutorial *, then I topped it off with green dots in Sinful Colors "Innocent" (944) using my dotting tool. Didn't do anything very out there seeing as I couldn't make up my mind!

I purchased my first Konad stamp set and plate (m33) on ebay. Whooopieee yeah..lol
The stamper/scraper was around 2.50 with free shipping, and my image plate was around 4.99 with free shipping. I'll add seller details and more info laterzz. Hopefully I can figure out how to work this well lol I'd like to buy more plates to try out.

So! My order came in from Taiwan. I'd been awaiting my purchase on ebay..I saw these cute cute cute nail clippers and just had to have one....or two....errr uh...three?? lol If only Asian stuff weren't so cute..hmph! I purchased from the seller greentec8 but I don't see anymore up for auction currently so one could just use the search term "cute nail clipper" on ebay lol






Just twist the head off and there you have it...Your nail clipper is now revealed!! lol I paid less than 2bucks for each nail clipper with free fast shipping.

I was bored yet didn't really feel like doing a semi complicated manicure so I just threw this together. Simple..but I like it..It reminds me of the deep sea..or space..hmm or looking up at the sky in the evening through tree branches..I really should get a new top coat though..my current one sucks

It's Sinful Colors GREEN OCEAN(220) over 2 coats of WHAT'S YOUR NAME (319) WHAT'S YOUR NAME is basically a black with very fine dark turquoise shimmer. While GREEN OCEAN looks like this. The color was so pretty and captivating sitting on the Sinful Colors nail polish display...I had to grab it..lol

So! Today I was bored and wanted to avoid doing real work (hehe). I'd been on soompi.com lurking around the nails section and came across a photo of nails with words on them...I was like...wth? I wonder how they do that..I want to learn! lol So...I looked up a tutorial today to try it out! My first attempt...not too shabby lol
